The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Orientation 12-18 course is designed to provide administrators, educators, families, community members, and adolescents a broad, general understanding of foundational Montessori theory and methodology for working with adolescents between the ages of 12–18 years.
This course will discuss why it’s important to continue Montessori education into the third plane and will consider the characteristics of adolescents in the third plane (12-18 years) of development as compared to earlier planes of development (0-12 years).
Live online sessions will be delivered via Zoom. The course will be given entirely in English.
Three weeks (Tech Check on March 11; course dates are March 13 – March 27)
· Five mandatory live sessions via Zoom, 8:00pm – 9:30pm and 12:00-4:00pm ET
Course facilitators will be available for an additional 30-minute optional discussion after class
