About the Workshop:
The Association Montessori Internationale Orientation 12-18 is a 25 hour workshop that will be held entirely online, enabling participants to more effectively organize their studies to complement their schedules, as well as having access to AMI trained practitioners, and fellow participants from around the world. During this workshop, participants will be provided with broad, general understanding of foundational Montessori theory and methodology for working with adolescents (12-18 years).
Participants will leave with high level concepts on how to engage an adolescent environment. Interested Teachers, Administrators, Board members, Parents, Guardians, Interested Professionals from all areas – health care, social work, law, community organizing etc. are all welcome!
Live online sessions will be delivered via Zoom. The course will be given entirely in English.
The AMI Montessori Certificate of Completion is awarded to those who complete all the following requirements.
Maintain a minimum 90% attendance (your camera must be on, and you need to be visible to the instructor to qualify as being in attendance. Attendance will not be counted if the participant is driving during the synchronous session
Actively participate in the Q&A sessions demonstrating an understanding of the pre-recorded lectures.
Complete the required discussion responses in the Learning Management System
Completion of 2 hours of general observation of adolescents
The cost to attend the workshop is $450 USD.

Twenty-five (25) hours of student engagement
90% attendance for all aspects of the course
Review of all asynchronous material
Participation in live, online seminars
Completion of online discussion forums
Completion of 2 hours of general observation of adolescents
Completion of written reflection after the general observation about about your shifting perspective (500 words)
