What is X-Terms?

Experiential Terms (X-terms) are short “courses” initiated and planned by adolescents, inspired by their interests. Co-constructed with adults, X-terms give adolescents hands-on experience fostering creativity, critical thinking, adaptation, and problem-solving skills. Adolescents work collaboratively with each other, guides, and outside experts to develop, facilitate, and evaluate in-depth work and study. They learn to be independent and take full ownership of the process, including working through logistics, the challenges of functioning in a group, finances, and identifying outcomes.

Join Michael Waski (The Math Institute) and Tina Booth (Train Montessori) to learn how to assist in supporting adolescents with the planning and implementation of these exciting and engaging collaborative works.
